I spend the nights dodging mourning.

I spend the nights waiting for the moon to smile back – it never does. But, maybe I’m just not seeing it. Either way I spend the nights sitting next to stars and measuring the blank space between them. How lonely it must feel to not shine. I remind it that nothing glows without some sort of darkness. I spend the nights dodging rays of sun that peak up early morning. How I wish to float with the stars forever and ever and ever. It’s how I make room for the light. -AMT©️
